Bede you did an amazing job of your carving in your passion project, from the research and design through to the completed carving you had a huge amount of new learning and you were always up for the challenge and you certainly gathered data through all your senses ( especially your finger tips when you dropped your carving on them - ouch!) and as your key note and blog show you got the amazing result that you deserved - well done.

Bede you have shown real passion towards the ecosystems we have looked at during science talent development. During our time with different experts you listened carefully to what they were teaching you, and managed your impulsivity the best that you could. I was impressed that you used your new knowledge to create a model of an ecosystem in your own time at home! You have thought a lot about the human effect on ecosystems, and I would be interested in your findings, should you investigate your wondering about poachers. The rainforest that you and Willson created, showed a lot of thinking interdependently from both of you. There was a lot of research that went into your project, you should be proud of what you achieved.
