Week5 Term4

At Enrich today I did allsorts of wonderful things, but here are  my favourites of the day.  My first favourite I did today was Plant Biology.
For Plant Biology John and I buddied up and guess what! We dissected a plant aka a flower,
and I'll put some pictures up.  I got to see the stigma and the ovary with eggs inside.
And heres my favourite,
it was,
Clay sculpting!
11 other students and I were makig money boxes,
I made a piggy bank and I'll but up a picture up too.
It was pretty challenging at points but the rest of the way it was easy.

Term 4 Week 1

Today at Enrich I had a complete different day than the other students?
So my day started off normal.
Then we talked about sustainability.
There are 4 types of it:
1.  Economic
2.  Enviromental
3.  Social
4.  Cultural.
Then we did a rating of the most sustainable mode of transport to school.
There was walking, biking, stakeboarding, car, bus, or a horse
Walking was the best.
Then Alana, Hannah and I
taked to a bunch of old people about
how canstuction works and we told them what we did last year
and this year and we showed them what we made.
Then we handed the cans to Brenda, a worker at the Salvation Army.
Then, just before lunch we played a new Wilson game - All or Nothing.

Week 10, Term 3

Today at enrich we did all sorts of wonderful stuff but today I did all kinds of things and here's the order of things I did today.
First thing I did was before school pick it was called letter bubbles it kind a hard it has all these letters and you've got to type them in and it includes numbers from zero to nine.  Then we did chess and I challenged Alana and I got wasted then we did passion time and I decided to dump making an app and I made a animation instead and it is pretty good and it's pretty cool.  Then we had morning tea and instead of passion time we did environment we practiced our speeches for next week at the Invecargill City Council Chambers!!!
Then lunch I had Pita pit and it was nice.  Then enviro again then blogging and then I had to miss some time for Spanish and then the Wilson game Picadilly Circus and then home time.
Adios from Bede@ Enrich. :)

Teacher Comment

Hi Bede.
Your group made great progress with your proposal for mosaics to be added to Wachner Place.  I’m pleased to see you have got your ideas sorted for what you would like to include in your mosaic - great organisation by you!  I know you were just as disgusted at me watching the clip on the top 10 most polluted cities in the world.  Clean air is something we take for granted here in NZ, but as we discussed, we all have to share that air but the solution for putting a stop to air pollution is a puzzling one.  Great to see you spending your lunch time on your idea of creating a gaming app - I look forward to seeing this progress!  Well done on a busy day Bede!  Katie.
